I want to share my story of how I got my first story curated on Medium. It may seem obvious to experienced writers, but for a newbie like me, it is something worthy sharing; A few hours after publishing the story — I checked to see what had happened and I found a message tagged below my headline; “Chosen for further distribution” This was exciting especially after reading somewhere that it could take days or weeks to have your story curated.

In this guide therefore, I am going to share a few tips and best practices for publishing on Medium, considered by many as the YouTube for writers.
